Technical Project Manager
Overview:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible
for the successful delivery and completion of eMASON Clarifire implementations
and related projects. Specifically, those related projects that deal with data
integration, web services and connectivity.
Responsibilities:
Manage
the overall project coordination, including managing scheduling, assigning
tasks, motivating resources, and resolving problems.
Adjust
project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of clients and the
organization.
Provide
consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing
project health analysis, significant issue tracking, and communication with
project team, support, development and management on a regular basis. Succinct, on point updates to project
stakeholders with identification of challenges is imperative.
Creating
project management artifacts such as project plan, project schedule and
associated task dependencies, risk list, scope documentation and project
closeout.
Creation
of documentation associated with transfer of knowledge of projects so that project
stakeholders are ensured continuity of project, client relationships and
ability to grow the team and make people cross functional.
Ensure
reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.
Ability
to prioritize action items on a consistent basis.
Facilitates
the creation of deployment approach, training plan, & supporting
operational needs.
Upon
client acceptance of completed project, works with Operations & Support
teams to facilitate training and transition for maintenance & ongoing
support.
Creating
project closure reports including validation of assumptions behind original
business case, lessons learned, & support of Operations during initial
period.
Works
to create repeatable implementation plans with focus on reduction of costs
associated with implementation and the creation of replicable methodologies.
Qualifications
Knowledge
of EDI and Business Application systems (ERPs).
Possess
strong knowledge of project management theory and practices. Adheres to project
management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on
time, adhere to high quality standards, meet and exceed customer expectations
along with organizational goals
In depth, first-hand experience performing systems analysis,
systems integration, customer facing tasks, and troubleshooting
Must have experience implementing web based applications and
understand the concepts of web architecture.
Overview working knowledge of the following technologies: ASP.Net,
VB.net, HTML, and XML (web services).
Experience
with business process reengineering, including gathering and documenting
requirements, documenting workflows and developing specifications for the
programmers required.
Must
have professional experience in a customer facing role with very strong
communication skills with ability to keep projects within budget and manage
contract compliance.
Must
take the initiative to learn the application so that they can use it for internal
project management and reporting.
Thorough
working knowledge of the entire SDLC, IT systems and processes, methodologies
and their direct implementation to projects
Strong
business and systems analysis skills and experience with numerous environments
and architectures.
Must
demonstrate ability to discuss and negotiate complex tradeoffs with all levels
of executive management, supervisors and functional processors along with the
internal management of the teams.
Requirements:
A
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field is required. MBA or related degree graduate level degree
preferred.
Ten
years plus proven success in high-tech account management and business
application implementations.
Financial
Services/Mortgage Banking/Consumer lending experience required.
PMI
PMP certification is highly desired.
Exceptional
writing skills and reporting capabilities.
Up
to 40% travel during implementation periods
