Jane Mason is founder and CEO of eMASON, Inc. the technology company specializing in web based process automation, which captures innovative concepts that optimize business processes and automates operational activities. Ms. Mason previously served, for over 15 years, as Chief Operating Officer for an international law firm, which practiced Intellectual Property and Real Estate law. Ms. Mason redefined client-focused service by applying innovative, web based technology to the company’s key processes and operations. Ms. Mason leveraged .NET technologies to reduce operating costs and improve client service. Her move to building her own technology company leverages her business architecting skills, which unites the complex relationships among people, technology, and business.
Ms. Mason conceptualized, designed and executed her vision of a business driven web based process application called the Clarifire application. The technology that she developed captures the ability for an enterprise to change its processes without having to spend huge capital resources to modify the technology. Organizations have the freedom to manage business processes according to their individual business needs and not be restricted to hard coded limitations in their system of record. Business users versus IT can monitor and change workflow in real time, allowing maximum efficiency and optimization of resources and productivity.
Mr. Goldman brings more than 37 years of leadership experience with a proven track record for identifying corporate needs, recognizing industry trends, and driving business opportunities along with delivering revenue growth. As our Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Goldman is responsible for overseeing all business operations for the organization. Mr. Goldman’s focuses are on eMASON’s strategic, tactical, and long-term goals.
Prior to eMASON, Mr. Goldman owned and operated the largest Ferrous and Non Ferrous scrap metal recycling companies in Tampa and Sarasota Florida. He continues to hold officer status in Tampa Steel & Supply, a wholesale steel service center serving the industrial needs of Central Florida Industry.
Mr. Goldman is a graduate of The University of South Florida where he remains an active alumnus in collegiate affairs.
As Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Underwood brings close to twenty years of experience in the areas of financial management. Ms. Underwood previously served as Chief Financial Officer for Scrap-All, Inc. a, major Scrap metal recycling company. In that role, Ms. Underwood was involved in the day-to-day operations of the company while she oversaw the financial planning and growth of the company. While working with Scrap-All, Inc. Ms. Underwood oversaw and managed the finances for five other major Florida companies.
Currently Ms. Underwood is responsible for providing financial planning and structure for the company by working with the CEO and management team to establish goals and budgets, strategies, plans, and policies.
Ms. Underwood received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the State University of New York, in 1990.
As Chief Information Officer, Mr. Walkinshaw is responsible for the development and execution of technology initiatives for eMASON. He provides the architectural direction for eMASON’s software products, interfaces with clients and vendors at the technical level, and supports the corporate infrastructure. Since joining eMASON in November of 2005, Mr. Walkinshaw has been utilizing his client/server development experience to ensure that the flagship application, Clarifire®, is continuously improved upon to meet the ever changing needs of the marketplace.
Prior to joining the organization Mr. Walkinshaw spent 10 years with Tech Data Corporation as the Lead Developer for their eCommerce web team. Mr. Walkinshaw was tasked with leading the team responsible for new development initiatives, enhancements, and maintenance of the website, which generated $4 million per day in revenue.
Mr. Walkinshaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of South Carolina.
Ms. Martins has been with eMASON since its inception and was one of the original designers of the Clarifire application. As the Solutions Design Director, Ms. Martins works with eMASON clients to align their initiatives with the Clarifire application’s technology resulting in increased organizational profitability and productivity. She provides recommendations for process automation and improvements that drive down costs in keeping with client strategic objectives.
In addition to Ms. Martins’ role at Mason Law where she developed technology to automate foreclosure and mortgage banking related processes, she has 5 years experience in the health care/risk management field; 7 years in the mortgage banking technology field including 3 years as a developer and several years in business analyst/executive roles.
Her expertise in data management, development, process improvements and delivery of services and solutions sets her apart. She is an integral member of the eMASON teams.
Ms. Martins holds a BA in Economics and Health Management from Eckerd College, and certification in Client Servicer Programming from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Helvey Johnson is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing all of eMASON’s infrastructures and systems, as well as ensuring connectivity and continuing of eMASON’s systems and data centers.
Mr. Johnson brings more than 20 years of experience in imaging complex financial technologies. Prior to joining eMASON, Mr. Johnson built out data centers from the ground up, which included disaster recovery sites, leveraging virtualization technologies for more than a decade at Market Street Mortgage.
Mr. Johnson began his career in the U.S. Navy where he received three commendations for technical excellence while building command and control centers for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
As Support Services Manager and Clarifire Product Manager, Mr. Riggs is responsible for managing the eMASON Support Team and working directly with our QA, Development, and Business Teams in providing efficiencies and managing, automating, improving and maintaining the Support and Quality processes associated with the Clarifire application.
Prior to his role at eMASON, Mr. Riggs worked at Sage Software - Healthcare Division as an Operations Supervisor, Business Analyst, and Product Manager and played an instrumental role in guiding product initiatives. Mr. Riggs brings with him over 12 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis and Training at Sage Software, T. Rowe Price Services Inc. and B.P.A. International.
Mr. Riggs holds a BA in Business Administration from Saint Leo University and is a Certified New Product Development Professional (NPDP) from the Product Development Management Association.
As the Director of Human Resources, Ms. Christensen oversees all of the HR functions for the eMASON team. As part of her responsibilities, she plays a strategic role in consulting Senior Management on organizational design, change management, workforce planning, complex employee relations matters, recruitment and development, benefits design, and ongoing efforts related to maximizing the success of the rapidly growing eMASON team.
Ms. Christensen graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Personnel Management from the University of Florida. She brings over 25 years of comprehensive human resources and management experience that includes 15 years with Bank of America.
In addition, Ms. Christensen is a member of Society for Human Resources Management.
As the Client Relationship Manager, Ms. Walling uses her expertise and background in effective communications, training, and innovative technologies, to gain a clear understanding of the client’s business processes. Being present and listening to the client’s needs and expectations ensures the implementation process is run efficiently and the client receives the full benefit of the Clarifire application.
Ms. Walling has an extensive background in Client Relations with an emphasis on leveraging technology to manage client satisfaction. At Bears Stearns Ms. Walling worked with high profile Asset Managers utilizing real-time technologies; at HCA Healthcare she managed the implementations of enterprise wide applications. Ms. Walling uses her experience to develop and foster an open dialogue with eMason clients, working closely with them to fulfill current needs and anticipate future opportunities.
Ms. Walling graduated with an Industrial Psychology degree from Emory University in 1997 and obtained her Masters in Innovative Management from the John Sykes School of Business at University of Tampa.
The Technical Project Management Team at eMASON interfaces with our clients’ Technical Project Management Teams to define objectives and provide technical solutions. Their relationship starts at the development phase and carries through to testing.
The eMASON Technical Project Management Team has an average of 15 years experience, within the financial services, telecommunications, computer software technology, and hospitality industries. Core competencies of the team include a strong knowledge of project management theory, processes and methodology; an in depth knowledge of system analysis and system integration; experience implementing web based applications and an understanding of web architecture concepts. The team has a working knowledge of the following technologies: ASP/ASP.Net 1.0 – 3.5, VB.net, HTML, and XML (web services) and numerous software applications, databases, and operating systems.
All of the eMASON Technical Project Group Management Team members hold an advanced degree and 70% of the team members are PMP certified.
The Development Team at eMASON implements enhancements to eMASON’s core applications and develops new solutions to assist clients in overcoming technical challenges. Understanding the changing needs of our clients and reacting to those changes timely using best practices and the latest technologies, is the foremost priority of the Development Team. The skills and technical achievements of the team enable eMASON to be a Microsoft Certified Partner. A variety of architectural designs and technologies have been used to integrate the Clarifire application with the client, the client’s vendor, third party companies, and to extend functionality of the Clarifire application suite.
The Development Team has an average of 16 years experience within the computer technology, communications, financial services, consulting, media research, and health insurance industries. All of the Development Team members have an advanced degree and extensive technical skill sets (tools, technologies, applications, platforms).
The mission of the Quality Assurance team at eMASON is to identify, communicate, and promote the use of quality principals and concepts to facilitate continuous improvement and increased stakeholder satisfaction. The team also provides full service test support using best practices, advises perceived quality risks, and makes recommendations to management. The ultimate goal of the QA team goal is to provide the customer with the best software experience possible.
The Quality Assurance Team has an average of 20 years experience within the military, pharmaceutical, computer technology, technology, transportation, and financial services industries. The Quality Assurance Team members all have an advanced degree, certifications, and an extensive quality assurance skill set (operating systems, data bases, tools and applications).
